This week’s photo challenge at The Daily Post is Spring. We’ve had three days of grey skies and occasional rain; cooler temperatures too so it feels-and looks-more like winter. Less than inspiring for spring photos.
These two shots were taken at last year’s National Cherry Blossom Festival, the first time we went since moving here. The trees are gorgeous, and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area during bloom time!
While it may not technically be spring yet the weather here has its own agenda. Sunny and 65° today, 75° for tomorrow…I’m really looking forward to opening windows and getting some fresh air in the house.
I like flowers in general but am particularly fond of spring bulbs: tulips, daffodils, crocuses, hyacinths, etc. D and I went out to lunch yesterday, and on the drive home it was such a nice surprise to see daffodils in bloom!
Happy St Patrick’s Day!
